Friday, June 13, 2025 - Flagstaff AZ USA And while I’m playing magic magnifying mind about Billy because he didn’t answer my text earlier, I call him and he’s FILLING HIS HUMMINGBIRD FEEDER. Why do I do this to myself? Probably out of the old Armenian guilt habit. Shit and damn. But he’s alive and well. While I’ve been making my version of prayer flags, I realized that maybe a better name would dispel the confusion of my prayer flags and the well recognized Tibetan Prayer Flags we see all over. So I did an AI search and Ms. AI came up with good ones:  What do you think? What do you like the best?

Thursday, June 12, 2025 Another day, another beautiful day in Paradise (aka Flagstaff AZ Spring Day). Some artwork, some small pieces of artwork, little bit of exercise, 12 Step Zoom meeting, re-reading another Nora Roberts book. The older ones are darn good, too. New ones aren’t bad either. Just a little different. Practiced with Ecoline Liquid watercolors on cotton w/c paper and on Karst Stone Paper. Love the colors and love the stone papers.  I must have mixed some colors and gotten one color wrong. No matter. I now know which black pigment pens work on the stone papers including the Sakura Glaze pens. Oh, and all the pens glide across the pages.

Wednesday June 11, 2025, Flagstaff AZ USA Today is about making a decision. What decision?  I got the Procreate app when I bought my 1st iPadPro (1st gen). Note here: I am now using a 4th gen 12.9” iPadPro (4th gen). Thinking about getting the new iPad Air or the new iPadPro that have been released this year. Yeah, right. More money going into my hobbies and definitely one I really want to learn more about. The course I’m considering is by Brooke Glaser THE ILLUSTRATOR’S LAUNCHPAD . On sale for $500 off at only $497 (or 4 monthly payments of $150 each). She’s a great teacher on her free YouTube channel, esp. one she has on which iPad to purchase. In the meantime, I’m playing with the Yasutomo Mineral Paper and the Karst Stone Paper journals and sketchbooks. So darn much fun and tactile. I just love experimenting with paper and color. The Sakura Glaze pens work wonderfully on this paper made out of 80% calcium carbonate. Acid free, too.  I think I’ve included enoug...
TUESDAY, JUNE 10, 2025 What’s the correlation to self-confidence and sarcasm? What’s the difference between self-confidence and sarcasm? And where does BOSSY come into the mix? Is there fear in there? Fear you might find something wrong with me? Fear that I’ll be rejected? That I won’t measure up to what I think you, any of you, should judge me as ??? Oh, sweet Jesus, this is a big question. BIG QUESTIONS, plural. Tonight is reading and discussion on Step 6: BECAME ENTIRELY WILLING TO HAVE GOD REMOVE THESE DEFECTS OF CHARACTER. Yeah, right?  So defects of character that are tied to this blog entry include and are not limited to: Bossy  Sarcastic Afraid of rejection Bashful Rude Judgemental Dishonest A fake (which is same as dishonest). I thought it would be so easy with a camera to capture really excellent shots. But I was never that good, never had that drive and ambition or self-confidence or willingness to more toward a goal to be a great fine art photographer. ...

Hi Friends, 1st Entry: June 9, 2025, Flagstaff AZ USA I’m starting a blog to be able to practice writing more creatively. No need to read or reply, ever. This is a FREE blog via Google who w know is the Simple Woman’s Guide to All Things Interesting. I’ll be starting with photos of my artwork and descriptions of what I’m doing. Best of all for me is that I’m having fun during this process of learning. As our friend, Yoda, says: “Do or Do Not; there is no Trying” June 10, 2025 Well, friends, I set up Google Photos yesterday. Slow is real, right? Now it’s time to add photos to my new baby-blog. Maybe the video will play for you but it’s not playing as I write the blog entry. Oh, well, it’s new to me and the blog is new to Blogland.
